It’s been awhile since we last seen this chart, Éclair and Froyo are gaining more steam. Android 2.1 and up is now responsible for 76% of all Android devices. While Android 1.6 and 1.5 combined only equates to nearly 23% with the remainder being something other than the above. There’s a few more Éclair OTA’s rolling out as we speak and Froyo phones seems to be released every other week. It’ll be interesting to see how this chart looks at the end of November, will we see some Android 2.3 devices on the list? I certainly hope so but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.
