If you’re wondering why it’s taking Archos so long to deliver the 70 and 101 tablets, you might have Froyo to blame. Currently in different parts of the world, the 101 is in the hands of a lucky few. These users all received their tablets with Android 2.1 and a note that said to expect Android 2.2 by mid-November. It’s possible that Archos has delayed the US release of these tablets because they want them to ship with Froyo as advertised. Up until now, we’ve yet to see the latest and greatest version of Android running on an Archos.
