What an exciting day for Android lovers all around the world. The first keynote at Google I/O was the best yet. The Android team over at Google has been hard at work the past couple of months and they have put together a great show. One of the biggest announcements of the day was the release of Android 3.1. The latest version of Android is currently being pushed out to Motorola Xoom devices as we speak. Verizon 3G Xoom customers will receive the first batch of updates and the Wi-Fi only models will follow. Also, Android 3.1 will be made available for Google TV units later this year. Any Xoom owners receive the update yet? Android 3.1 includes a host of new features, stay tuned, we’ll be discussing those soon.
