We’ve been pleasantly surprised with yet another update from Google. Not only is the Nexus 7 being updated to Android 4.1.1 but the GSM Galaxy Nexus is getting the update as well. I just applied the update to my device and guess what, the search function is still just as robust as it was before. If you have one of these devices the update should be hitting your device soon. There’s no word on when the CDMA versions will be receiving their update.
Download it here directly from Google, this is a stock image so you need to be running the stock recovery to flash. This is for those of you that are already running on Android 4.1.
