It took months after the update hit the GSM version for Verizon to get it out but at least they managed to beat non-Nexus devices to the update. Just barely edging out the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 and the HTC One X, VZW’s Galaxy Nexus is now being updated to Android 4.1.1. If you managed to stay on stock firmware all this time and didn’t jump on the custom ROM Jelly Bean scene, today is a big day for you guys.
