Google has just decided to upgrade the download limit in the Android Market from 50MB to 4GB. This is just as much as gift for the user as it is for developers. Now developers will not have to host their own files, you can download them directly from the Android Market. And users will be able to see the real size of the app they are downloading. The days of downloading a 2MB game only to find out it needs 2GB of resources will soon be over. Once you choose the app you want to download, the app and the resources will be downloaded directly from the market. And don’t worry about the 15 minute return window. The clock will not start ticking until everything is downloaded. Developers can click the source to find out how to get started.
