A few days ago Apple was awarded more than 1 billion dollars in damages from Samsung in their patent dispute here in the US. At the time the verdict was announced many of us wondered how Apple managed to get off without a scratch in the fight. Both parties clearly infringed on each other’s patents yet Samsung was pretty much the only one found guilty.
