Besides the HTC EVO, this is the only Android device to be released in the US with an HDMI output. Many have wondered how this will perform on your television. The answer, it’s pretty locked down just like the bootloader on the device. It can only browse media that is in your gallery. It can’t display everything that is shown on your device like the Galaxy S.
To get started you need to buy a type D HDMI cable, this is relatively cheap. You can find it for around $15 pretty much anywhere on the web including Amazon and eBay. There are some HDMI settings, you will be able to choose which format you want displayed all the way up to 720p. Without further ado, here’s the video.
