We’re now one more step away from our first custom Rom on the Droid X. first the handset was rooted and now we have a custom recovery. A custom recovery gives rooted users the ability to flash a ROM that is not official signed by the manufacturer. There are still a few kinks to work out before we can expect to see this recovery on our phone. It shouldn’t be long now, be sure to follow Birdman’s Twitter account for updates on the progression of this recovery.
