I canâ€™t say that Iâ€™m actually surprised by this. The Android 2.2 update for the EVO has been leaked. Better yet, itâ€™s already rooted and you can download and install it now. Seems like the guys over at the XDA couldnâ€™t wait for the 3rd. can you blame them? The link and instructions are after the break.

3G tethering works (legally of course)
You can now record with the camcorder.(see i promised you all i would fix it by the weekend)
Follow these instructions word for word AND MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS ABOVE 75% AND YOU HAVE TO WIPE EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DATA/FACTORY RESET. CACHE. AND DALVIK CACHE!!!!!!!!!!
1.DOWNLOAD ALL THREE ZIPS
2.FLASH THE ROM
3.BOOT INTO THE ROM AND TURN IT OFF AFTER YOU GO THROUGH THE SETUP
4.BOOT INTO RECOVERY
5.FLASH THE RADIO
6.REBOOT AND LET IT FINISH
7.FLASH THE WIMAX UPDATE
8.REBOOT AND LET IT FINISH
9.IT SHOULD SEND YOU INTO THE ROM
If you can not start 4G on first boot, restart. if you still cant, then wipe and flash the ROM ONLY!
Lastly, i can not be blamed for bricking or anything that may happen. follow my instructions and you should be set.
If there are any little issues, i will address them at a later time. i have had one hour of sleep and worked all day. im sorry but i dont care right now
Quirks-not all applications will show up in market. this will be fixed after google adds the evo to the database after release.
- i did not install busybox because of 4G issues. CLICK PROBLEMS? ON TITANIUM BACKUP TO ALLOW IT TO INSTALL BUSYBOX
