If you’re lucky enough to be in possession of the recently launched Nexus 7 and was brave enough to root it, this is an awesome mod to try. It’s a fairly straightforward process for most people who have hacked an Android device in the past. All you have to do is mod the original dpi in the build.prop from 213 to between 160-170 and you’ll be greeted with the traditional tablet UI for Android instead of the phone-like interface the device ships with. There have been reports of issues after the mod so be sure to read through the tread before you attempt to apply the mod.
