Android is clearly a popular platform all across the world and Aldi has just released a new tablet in Australia and the device sold out in minutes. Customers were in line to grab the Bauhn branded 9.7 inch ICS slate. Some customers left the store with up to three devices while customers towards the end of the line left the store upset about not being able to purchase the device. A few notable features of this device are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, microSD card slot and a 3.5mm jack. The best feature may have been the price as the device was on sale for only $249. There’s no word on when the device will be available again, so the wait for a new batch might be a long one.
