Today Google announced that Google Earth Mobile will be getting better 3D rendering. Soon, entire cities can be viewed in rich 3D graphics and everything down to the trees with is in 3D as well. Google also announced that offline maps is now out of labs and will be added to Google Maps. This is a great move and it will allow device to utilize navigation features without having a constant data connection. This might have been the last weak spot in Google Maps and that’s now a thing of the past. More updates for both apps are being worked on behind the scenes. I can’t wait to see what other new features make their way into these apps in the future.
