The aftershocks of Verizon’s new shared data plans are still hitting us in the wallet. The company will soon end subsidized pricing for users who purchases tablets from them directly. In the past you could head into VZW, purchase a device with a new plan and get a break on the price in exchange for a few years of service. Now Verizon will require you to add the device to your existing plan for an additional charge of $10 a month and you get to share the data from your phone with the slate. The official word from Verizon hasn’t been announced, expect that to be released shortly.
