1. Previously under Facebook's "Privacy concerns" it said that sharing with specific lists of friends was not possible. This isn't true. You can customize a list and choose what photos and status updates to share with that list. However the UI on Google+ makes this function a lot easier. 2. You absolutely can share a Google+ post with only one person, by clicking on the "+Add circles or people to share with" space under your update. I apologize for overlooking this in the original story. Google+ is brand new to me too! By now you've probably seen all the headlines, skipped through the "how to" guides, and read all the reasons why so many tech journalists and online socialites are clamoring to get into Google+, with some even bidding on eBay for a G+ invite. But you? You're more cautious about putting yourself out there online. Perhaps you think Google+ is no different from that other time suck, Facebook. Or perhaps you're too weirded out by Facebook "poking" to care about learning the difference between a Google+ "huddle" and "hangout".
