According to much quoted yet still anonymous internet sources, the first ChromeOS Tablet will release on November 29 of this year (yes that hellish shopping day known as Black Friday that comes immediately after Thanksgiving.) The tablet will apparently be released on Verizon heavily subsidized, and made by HTC...

There's no specs known, no leaked images, nothing really to go on... But I'll admit I kind of hope it's true... I might even get up at 6:00 a.m. to pick one up... just cause I know verizon will be no where as crazy as best buy...

source: every rumour tech blog site on the internet.

So what's your opinion, will this fairy tale come true? Though i have my doubts, here's to hoping.

This would be interesting, but I would rather have an Android 3.0 Gingerbread tablet! :D

What if after it came out, someone made it so you could dual boot chrome and android?
Cause that might be cool :-)

It'll happen. According to an engineer I talked to a while ago, ChromeOS is a better tablet OS than Android. I'm holding out for an Acer netbook running Chrome; they should be out soon also.

I really don't like that these tablets are tied to carriers with a data plan. Wifi + tethering seems much more preferable.
