Hey guys. I just wanted to comment about the Theme of the site. Was this your original work dj, or was it Constell that did it?

I do like the theme. The different greens and Android color is quite nice, but the Red makes it seem so much like Christmas. lol. I'm sure this is all very, very much a work in progress. As well as not wanting to look to much like other Android sites. But is there anything else you guys are considering? Just figured I'd post this to see thoughts, info, and idea's anyone might have. Anything to better the site now or later is good right. I'm sure over time it will get polished and we will be the next best site in Android News.

Heya. The theme is called CA Gen2 Green. It's a phpbb theme. I picked it out. Yeah, we're still tweaking things. Thanks for the feedback. I'm pretty sure we're always open to suggestions.

Our goal is to use the official Android colors. That's actually Android Orange not red, the green is a little darker n the don't because its easier to c.

I don't wanna sound like I don't like it. I'm just trying to comment on things I like or don't. just like what I told DJ on twitter about the news feed and trying to comment on them.

but yea. the Icon up top is Android Green and Orange, but when I'm looking down the forums. it looks red on my screen.. So we are using phpbb here. Vbulletin is good to, but SOO many use that already

Yea, we're still tweaking and it is orange . its just a hard orange and we opted for phpbb over vbulliten because like u said EVERYONE uses that AND this site will be built on open source pieces just like Android

Hopefully there will be additional theme options in the future. I prefer "dark" themes on forums. Easier on the eyes, IMO.

Hahhaha. Well done. Maybe at the bottom add a theme tab where we can do light, dark, or Grey themes. But yeah im happy with it now. But like bm said, darker is easiler on the eyes. But i hate white on black

I contacted the guy who runs this mobile phpbb site earlier today, about any advice or help he can give on themeing his mod, It looks really good for a mobile site, but maybe we can get it more androidian...

I'll keep y'all up to date if/when he replies
and then everyone can help this noob, actually do any work on it
