so, who's getting it? i am, definitely. money has been sitting in the bank since feb.
i got away from android for awhile after being an early adopter to the g1. i had a touch pro 2 just so i could view my security cameras online,as android at the time wouldn't let me view my cams. had an hd2 running android as well, but i was plagued with the 3g/2g on off problem. returned that and started using my g1 again. running cyan made it worthwhile, but eventually i blasted the screen, leaving several pretty looking cracks in the screen. so i'm well overdue for a beast phone. and the g2x fits the bill perfectly for me. the only thing i wish it had was a 4.3, but i think i'll live. the hdmi mirroring looks great. and i can't wait to dig into the tegra zone! my only problem so far is accessories. even for the optimus 2x euro version, the choice of cases is very limited. i hope the usa retailers step it up and put out some cases with a kick stand. even ebay was pretty limited on case selection. regardless, come the 15th, this phone will be mine. but it probably won't arrive till the 20th or so. i hope they ship out the online orders immediately and not make us wait till the 20th. that would suck.

I think it's the one I'm getting, cyanogen has already said he's going to support it. Supposedly it's future proof with AT&T and T-Mobiler 4G bands.

Hopefully this merger won't get past the SEC. I haven't decided where my phone will drop as of yet.

the only good thing about it being future proof is i'll at least get some of my cash back from ebay when i have to sell it. everyone has their carrier horror stories, but i've read way too many things about the death star. sprint has that stupid 10 dollar smart phone fee, but at least it's truly unlimited......for now at least. but that's at the minimum a year from now. so i'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts. and i just got my wife a mt4g a month ago. so we're sticking with magenta till the end.

Well said and I agree, I plan on doing the same. I just got a g2 and mt4g. Might get this cash depending on how much I spend on my trip to google io if I go.

well although I was 90 happy with Tmobile I have to say that I am leaving main reason is everyone i know now has VZW second there where some spots of no service with T and VZW doesnt have this issue. The difference is about 15 monthly but always having service and not worrying bout going over is worth it. any opinions??

Personally I wouldn't leave because I hate cdma. But it all boils down to what's best for you. If your area isn't a good spot for Tmobile service then you really have no choice.
