Sony Indian has revealed one of their Android Honeycomb based tablets in India via their website. The 16GB WiFi-only version on Sony Tablet S is priced at Rs 29,990 and it is already available in select Sony stores across India. Sony is also has revealed the 3G vision and the Sony Tablet S 16GB 3G vision is higher than the 16GB Wi-Fi only model.

How to Get 3G on Sony Tablet S wifi Only?

We know that the Sony Tablet S wifi version only supports WiFi for the moment, so, what we need to do is transfer the 3G signal into WiFi, then Sony Tablet S wifi version can access to internet and we will successful get what we want.

There are two methods. 1, Use the personal WiFi hotspot on your smartphone. 2, Use a portable 3G router to get 3G on Sony Tablet S wifi only.

Example: Get 3G on Sony Tablet S with iPhone 4 personal hotspot

1. How to set up your iPhone personal WiFi hotspot

(If you only have iPhone3G or 3GS, make sure it is already higher than 4.3 IOS)

Go to the settings menu, in “settings”, you'll see a new “personal hotspot” menu item. Tap it.



2. In the personal hotspot menu, slide the "personal hotspot" option to "on".

You'll note that Apple has allocated the connection a default password which is shown on this screen too. You can either use it (as each iPhone 4 gets a different random password) or change it to something you can more easily remember by tapping on it.


Then, on your tablet Wi-Fi menu, you should see your iPhone pop up in the list after a few seconds. The network name is the name of your iPhone in iTunes.

Of cause, you can also use Windows phone and Android Smartphone personal hotspot to get 3G on Sony Tablet S wifi version.

Get 3G on Sony Tablet S with ZTE MF60 portable 3G router

What you need?

A SIM Card
ZTE MF60 3g router
Sony Tablet S

Open the back cover of ZTE MF60 3G Router and insert the SIM Card; Hold the power button to turn on the 3G Router; Turn on Sony Tablet S, you should see the ZTE MF60 pop up in the WiFi list. Select it, you will need to enter the password and you can find it inside the back cover of ZTE MF60. Wait a few seconds for connecting.


This is how I get 3G on Sony Tablet S wifi only on the way, and mostly I use the 3G Router, as it provides better connection, fast and stable.

How do you transfer your DSi wifi connections onto pokemon pearl? My wifi works on my DSi XL, but when I try using pokemon wifi, it wont let me! I go to wifi connections on the pokemon game card, but i dont know my WEP key, but the DSi asks for a different password. We also used the advanced setup on the DSi. Help?
