Ok, I'll admit I'm excited about this, I've been trying out hexxeh's builds every so often, just to check out the progress and it is impressive.

In fact, I'm pretty positive i'll buy a google branded tablet running this, day one (supposing the price isn't ridiculous)

But I'd really rather hear your opinion on it :-)

I am getting more excited about it now that you pointed me back to Hexxeh's site. I tried very early builds of ChromeOS and it seems like it has come a long way... (just like Chrome itself, to be honest).

Currently downloading and creating a USB stick! :D

let me know if you need any help, the one thing i've experienced with his builds is that the first time you sign in you need to physically hook it up to an ethernet cord after it establishes the connection that way the first time, you can use wifi all you want.

Okay. So far, I have only had the time to download the .tar of the .img

I will plan to work on creating the USB in the coming days. Will be leaving straight from work and will be out of town this weekend so that will not happen until at least Sunday.

does anyone know how this is built? i assumed it was linux-based, but i just read that it can run microsoft office, games (:O), etc... so it can't just be solely linux.
