It looks like today is the unofficial Android 4.0 rollout day for manufacturers around the world. First Sprint kicked things off here in the US with an update to the HTC EVO 3D and the Samsung Epic Touch 4G and now Samsung is updating another one of their devices overseas. The original Galaxy Tab 10.1 is reportedly receiving an update to Android 4.0 in the UK.
And users in Italy with the 3G version of the device are reporting that they too have received the update. Could this be a worldwide rollout? We’ll just have to see if users from other parts of the world are receiving the notification as well. I’m going to check my OG GTab 10.1 too see if it has an update waiting for me.
