Verizon has just post the Gingerbread changelog for the Droid 2. This means we’re extremely close to the official Gingerbread rollout for the device. According to the changelog, new apps, Motorola’s new UI and a few bug fixes are included with the update. Once it hits your device it will be roughly 106MB in size. If you’re rooted, you might want to get back to stock firmware to prepare your device for the OTA. We’ll be back to let you know when the rollout begins.
