Google has just released a huge update to the Play Books app. The app is now good enough to compete with the likes of Amazon and even beat them on some accounts. You can now highlight words in a book, get a dictionary definition, translate the word and even add notes to the book. If the word is a place, you’ll be given the location in Google Maps and more information about the place from Wikipedia. The app is free and it’s available now in the Google Play Store.
