The Nexus Q is easily the second most fun device I received at this year’s Google I/O right behind the Nexus 7. Google has decided to postpone the launch of device in an effort to make it do more. The biggest complaint early preview owners have with the device is the it’s limited use. Yes, it constructed here in the US from high quality materials but when you drop $300 on a device you want it to more than just stream stuff from your Google Play account.
Even though it does stream music and video from any Android 2.3.3 and up device in range, that still isn’t enough. The best part of this delay is Google will be adding extra functionality to the sphere and they are giving everyone a free Nexus Q who paced a preorder for the device. since it sold pout relatively fast, we’d like to think that there are few of you that will extremely happy to hear this and to those of you that didn’t have faith in the product, you missed out big time on this one.
