Goophone, Apple’s perennial thorn-in-the side in China, is set to release an iPad Mini clone that will run Android Jelly Bean for only $99.
Goophone already has several devices on the market that with a casual glance you could easily mistake for an Apple product. Some of these include clones of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 as well as the iPad clone which is called the GooPad.
The above photo is from Gizmochina, a tech site in China, and it shows just how much it resembles the iPad Mini as well as Apple’s marketing flare.
The device has middle of the road stats as far as a tablet goes: 8″, 1024×768 display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. Though for only $99 what do you expect?
So, if you have an extra Benjamin burning a hole in your pocket you won’t have to wait long to get this as it’s slated for release in November.
