Today’s the big day, Verizon promised Android 2.2 for the Droid. By now there should be at least a handful of people to have it and we haven’t heard any noise of anyone receiving it. If there’s one knock on the Droid line and Motorola, it’s the way the handle updates. They are constantly being pulled for some reason or another. If you recall, the 2.1 update was plagued with this same problem. It was pushed back about 3 times before it finally hit. Let us know if your get the update anytime today.
