If you don’t know by now, the official Froyo test build has just leaked for the Galaxy S. there are a few problems with it that expected from an Alpha ROM. The original build is not rooted and flash doesn’t work. Both of those are now functioning with a little help from the XDA. Hopefully this will get ported over to the Vibrant and Captivate soon. Until then enjoy it on your Galaxy S.

For all Galaxy S users make sure you read this.

Things that you should know about this rom.
It have bugs!
- Internet. (stops sometimes)
- Flash. (no flash)
- Sometimes the lock info screen doesn’t works.
- No Wireless location

The rom is good stable but not the fastest one.

Remember people this is the first Android 2.2 rom by Samsung!
We will publish more after some days or weeks.

How to flash:
Make sure you running a XP or Windows 7 32bitt pc. This will works the best.
Download latest kies for drivers.

Programs:
ODIN and 512.PIT
DOWNLOAD ODIN.
DOWNLOAD 512.PIT

Firmware: (The pass of the rar = samsung-firmwares.com)

Ok now you have the program. .PIT file and the firmware.
Take your mobile.
Remove your battery.
Remove Simcard and Micro SD.
Put battery back.

Hold HOME – Volume DOWN – Power on.
Now you get DOWNLOAD screen.

Open progam load them like you see on the pictures.
Select Re-Partition in ODIN
Take usb cable.
Put him in you PC and Mobile.
And follow our picture guide.

Your phone will boot after the upload is DONE.
The flash time is allround 5 minutes.

This firmware seems better soon more firmware for other models
