We’re just a few weeks out from HTC’s upcoming press conference. The company is expected to announce a few new Android devices as well as a few Windows Phone 8 handsets. The rumors of what they are bringing to the show are starting to heat up. There have been suggestions of an updated 7 inch Flyer tablet device and now a more powerful HTC One X is supposedly in the works.

A member of the XDA tweeted the specs for a new device that’s been dubbed the One X+. It features an updated Tegra 3 quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It’s said to be running a new version of HTC Sense version 4.5 on top of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This sounds like on heck of a device. If it is indeed real, it could be the spark HTC needs to get back to the top of the smartphone market.
