There was a rumor going around yesterday that Sprint will begin rolling out Android 4.1 to their version of the Galaxy S 3 today. At the time that was unconfirmed but it looks like it turned out to be true. The update is currently underway and if you’re running a stock device you’ll be able to safely update your device real soon. The notification should be arriving soon if it hasn’t already. You could always check for the update in the phones settings or reboot to see if it picks it up. There’s going to a lot of happy US Galaxy S 3 owners today.
