The device you see in the picture above is the KT Identity Tab. It’s an aluminum body Galaxy Tab knockoff and its headed to Korea Telecom soon. It features a 1GHz tablet with TFT-LCD, 8GB of internal memory, SD card slot, DMB TV tuner, light and gravity sensors, built-in eBook reader, and 3 megapixel camera. It doesn’t appear to have a front facing camera like the Galaxy Tab.
SK Telecom will be getting the Galaxy Tab in September. There’s no solid release date or pricing just yet. Samsung should announce this information sometime this week. It should sell for a similar price here in the US.
