It seems like we learn something new and cool about the Nexus 7 tablet every day. A new feature that Google failed to mention is compatibility with a smart cover. The device has a magnet sensor that turns off the display and this could be used in conjunction with a smart cover to put the device to sleep when the cover is closed. Most likely this feature will be utilized in some fashion with an upcoming dock. Nonetheless it’s still a cool feature and you can check it out after the jump.
