Sometimes have the latest and greatest isn’t everything you’d hope it would be. HBO GO and MAX GO users experienced this first hand as the premium channel video streaming apps were incompatible with Android 4.0 devices. That’s now a thing of the past as both apps have been updated to be ICS friendly. If you’re a subscriber of either channel, these are a must. You can download both apps from the Google Play Store now for free.

[...] Last week we told you that HBO GO was no optimized for Android 4.0 devices. Apparently that doesn’t include tablet support as users everywhere has been complaining about incompatibility errors. The folks over at HBO left out tablet support in the last update and they have confirmed that they are working on a tablet specific app. Unfortunately it looks like this version will not be ready for the public until sometime this summer.
