We were all elated once we heard that Motorola has official launched their unlock tool website. When the site launched we thought most of their devices or at least the ones released this year would soon receive an official unlocked bootloader. It seems that is not the case as Motorola has stated that older devices will not be compatible with the service. That means that you’re DROID Bionic will likely be locked down forever. There’s a good chance that the RAZR will remain locked as well. Hopefully a list of devices will be released soon so all the guess work will be out of the way. But things aren’t looking good right now.
