Android Mixer on Facebook

For the longest, there have been rumors of an official Google tablet. Said tablet is supposedly manufactured by Motorola for Google. As the original rumors state, this tablet will land on Verizon’s network. Is this latest news confirmation of that rumor?

With the closing of the Google phone store, there probably will never be an official Google tablet. They have a new focus and have stated that they are out of the hardware business. Recently there have been rumors of a Nexus Two but that’s neither here nor there.

Back to the business at hand, Motorola and Verizon are teaming up to bring an Android powered tablet. Most likely this tablet will be 10”, have FIOS TV support and dual cameras. It’s possible that it will also have built-in Google TV service. Since it will be on Verizon, it will have their data service, I expect voice to be supported as well. Mobile hotspot features has been all but confirmed. For now, this information is just a rumor. More information should be released in the coming days.
