While the Motorola XOOM here in the US is sitting pretty on Android 4.1, it’s hard to believe that the same device in other regions is still running Honeycomb. Our friends in the UK will be delighted to learn that Motorola has finally decided to push a new version of Android to both the 3G and Wi-Fi XOOM slates. Although the update doesn’t bring the tablet any Jelly Bean goodness, ICS will have to do for now. The OTA should be hitting your device anytime now. Or you could root and install Android 4.1 by unofficial means.
