Android 4.1 and its new UI and Project Butter for smoothness are now official. Google announced the update at Google I/O today and its coming to a few devices next month. The Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola XOOM will be the first device to receive the update in July. All of you developers out there can grab the SDK now and get to building for it. The slight changes to the UI and new features all look awesome. Stay tuned for more about the latest version of Android and Google I/O is going on now.
