We’ve heard rumors for months that Verizon will be announcing new shared data plans. The day is almost upon us for these new plans and things are looking good for VZW customers. You can see the new plans above and there is a bit of price gouging going on here. In some cases you will actually save money but for the most part fi you move over to one of these plans you’ll actually be spending more than you are.

The only way to avoid these plans is to purchase your new device out right. All new contracts on a family plan will have to choose from one of these options. There’s already a ton of people upset over these new plans and hopefully Verizon is listening and decides to change them before it officially goes into effect on June 28^th.
