Google is still working hard on improving Google TV. One of the most annoying features of the service is the old version of the Store on the units. For some odd reason, maybe due to the screen size, the Store is always a few steps behind other Android devices. Later this year Google will be releasing an updated version of the Google Play Store that will include movie, music and TV purchases and you can subscribe to services there as well. A solid release date hasn’t been released yet, we’ll circle back once the update is live.
