Today was a huge day for Android fans all around the world as Google pulled out the big guns today with some monumental announcement’s the biggest news of the day was the announcement of the Nexus 7 tablet. This 7 incher looks better in-person than I thought it would and you can place your order for yours now in the Google Play Store.
For months we’ve known about this device and it was great watching it announced live. The specs are pretty much the same as was rumored many times before. It features a 7 inch display with 1280×800 pixels, FFC, quad-core Tegra 3 processor with a 12 core GPU and it runs Android 4.1.
There are two options to choose from in the Google Play Store. An 8GB version for only $199 and a 16GB variant for $249 are both available to preorder now. It will ship out in 2-3 weeks if you place your order now.
