Once we heard that the Streak from Dell could possibly be sold unlocked from Dell, most of had our hopes up high for a T-Mobile 3G compatible version. Looks like those hopes have just been dashed. Dell has stated the Streak “will not be certified for T-Mobile operation overall.”  That means that it will work with T-Mobile’s EDGE but not any speeds higher than that. This is very disappointing news but, Dell has many more tablets in the works. The Streak is just the first out of the gate, by the middle of next year there could be almost 6 tablets in different sizes and specs. Some of these should be T-Mobile 3G compatible.
