We got some bad news for all of you O2 UK owners of the Sony Xperia arc, Xperia ray, and Xperia neo. These three devices will not be receiving an update to Android 4.0 ICS. Sony promised that its entire range of devices released in 2011 will indeed receive an update to ICS. That isn’t the case for these few handsets. Sony has stated that the update lowers the users experience due to the fact that the performance of the devices is drastically decreased. Furthermore, once updated there’s no way to revert to an older version of Android without erasing the device completely.
