New images of an unannounced Motorola phone have been leaked by EVLeaks on Twitter. The device looks like the Motorola handset we seen a few months back but this version is incased in some sort of protective shell. We’re not sure what this device is but the image below might give us some insight on the device. It says it’s the XFONE for AT&T. its running stock Android and that’s about all we can tell from the images.

I got a chance to check out the G-Form XTREME case for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. This is a unique looking rugged case that features new technology called RPT – Reactive Protection Technology. Facebook Home is now live in the Google Play Store. If you live in the US and have a supported device, you can get a taste of the UI from the HTC First. The app is free and you need to be running Android 4.0 or higher to download. It looks like the Optimus G2 from LG is coming to the US real soon. T-Mobile will be getting the device and it has been spotted in benchmark tests. A few details about the device were uncovered in the results. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 and Android 4.2.2. No pricing or release date hasn’t been announced but you T-Mobile will likely offer this device for $99 down payment and $20 a month for 24 months. It will be able to take advantage of T-Mobiles no contract plans.
T-Mobile is looking to shake up the mobile industry with today’s move. The company will be switching over to a no contract business model and they will do so with these new Simple Choice Plans. They start at just $50 a month for unlimited talk, text and web. That price includes 500MB of data, unlimited data starts out at $70 for individual plans and $120 for family plans. All of these plans include tethering and you can take advantage of them starting now.
With the exception of the Nexus One, the Nexus line of devices hasn’t been the most powerful devices around. The Nexus 4 had a nostalgic feeling as far as specs goes for a few months when it was released but it will be outclassed real soon once the Galaxy S 4 and HTC One hits the streets. That’s why this latest rumor of the Nexus 5 seems semi-legit.
A new render of what is said to be the Motorola X Phone has been leaked. This image is most likely fake but it does look great. It said to feature a 4.7 inch 720p display with an edge-to-edge design. Other specs include a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 4,000mAh battery and no microSD card slot. The phone is rumored to be water proof, has a Gorilla Glass 3 display and its constructed out of a metal chassis. Motorola is expected to bring this device to Google I/O so we’ll find out for sure if its real there.

We’re going to need to get our hands on a review unit to cover all of the new features on the camera for the Galaxy S 4. You can now make GIF images from the devices, dual cameras that allow you to place yourself in a picture you’re taking and Sound & Shoot mode where you can add audio to your pictures. There’s no shortage of features packed into the Galaxy S 4. S Translate is on display and it allows you to quickly translate different langues while on the go. For example, you meet a guy on the street in foreign county and he speaks his native tongue and it the translation will happen on your screen in real time. Samsung just unveiled the Galaxy S 4 in NYC. The device looks identical to what we’ve seen in the leaks but that not necessarily a bad thing. The Galaxy S 3 nature inspired design will be carried on by the device. It will be available in LTE, HSDPA for multiple carriers around the world. You can pick up the Galaxy S 4 by the end of April. The founding father of Android has just stepped down. Andy Rubin will be calling it quits as the lead of the Android team. Sundar Pichai from the Chrome team will assume his position. Andy Rubin will however remain with Google in a capacity that’s currently unknown to those of us outside the inner circles of Google. Android has come a long way since Andy Rubin hooked up with Google back in 2004. We wish him all the best, this could be the final step needed before we see a merger of Android and Chrome. Amazon just dropped the price of the Kindle Fire 8.9 to $270 for the Wi-Fi model and $400 for the version with 4G LTE.
