Google has just posted the binaries and factory images for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. These images can be used to restore your device to its factory state if you run into problems in development. On the other hand, if you have the know how you can use these images to update your device to the latest version of Android if you’re not interested in waiting for the OTA to hit your device. AT&T is the latest carrier to push out the Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. The update just like the ones before it, adds Galaxy Gear smart watch support. Make sure you’re running a stock device to safely update since this is a stock OTA. You’ll also need to be sure your device has enough battery. The update clocks in at nearly 720MB in size so it might take while to complete. If you haven’t received the update yet you can check for it in the settings menu or try rebooting the device. The CyanogenMod Installer is now available in the Google Play Store. This app coupled with the desktop companion and a Windows PC will allow you to easily get started with the latest from CyanogenMod. Todays a big day for Nexus tablet owners. Android 4.4 KitKat is now available for the devices. Both versions of the Nexus 7 are receiving the update as well as the Nexus 10. Nexus 4 owners will have to wait a bit longer as the update isn’t ready just yet. EVGA and NVIDIA just officially announced the Tegra Note 7. The 7 inch tablet features a stylus and it’s powered by the Tegra 4 processor. If you’ve drooled over Google Glass and weren’t lucky enough to get an invite yet, you’re in luck. Google has just opened up the Glass Explorer program for the general public. You can’t exactly head over to Google and pick them up, there’s a signup page that you can add your name too and get in line for an invite. When a spot does open up you’ll need to plop down $1500 to get your hands on Glass. The program just started, it’ll be interesting to see how soon Google will contact these potential users.
