New images of an unannounced Motorola phone have been leaked by EVLeaks on Twitter. The device looks like the Motorola handset we seen a few months back but this version is incased in some sort of protective shell. We’re not sure what this device is but the image below might give us some insight on the device. It says it’s the XFONE for AT&T. its running stock Android and that’s about all we can tell from the images.

I got a chance to check out the G-Form XTREME case for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. This is a unique looking rugged case that features new technology called RPT – Reactive Protection Technology. This technology is said to stiffen up when you drop the device and it should absorb 90% of the impact keeping your handset nice and safe. Facebook Home is now live in the Google Play Store. If you live in the US and have a supported device, you can get a taste of the UI from the HTC First. The app is free and you need to be running Android 4.0 or higher to download. It looks like the Optimus G2 from LG is coming to the US real soon. T-Mobile will be getting the device and it has been spotted in benchmark tests. A few details about the device were uncovered in the results. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 and Android 4.2.2. No pricing or release date hasn’t been announced but you T-Mobile will likely offer this device for $99 down payment and $20 a month for 24 months. It will be able to take advantage of T-Mobiles no contract plans.
T-Mobile is looking to shake up the mobile industry with today’s move. The company will be switching over to a no contract business model and they will do so with these new Simple Choice Plans. They start at just $50 a month for unlimited talk, text and web. That price includes 500MB of data, unlimited data starts out at $70 for individual plans and $120 for family plans. All of these plans include tethering and you can take advantage of them starting now.
With the exception of the Nexus One, the Nexus line of devices hasn’t been the most powerful devices around. The Nexus 4 had a nostalgic feeling as far as specs goes for a few months when it was released but it will be outclassed real soon once the Galaxy S 4 and HTC One hits the streets. That’s why this latest rumor of the Nexus 5 seems semi-legit.
A new render of what is said to be the Motorola X Phone has been leaked. This image is most likely fake but it does look great. It said to feature a 4.7 inch 720p display with an edge-to-edge design. Other specs include a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 4,000mAh battery and no microSD card slot. The phone is rumored to be water proof, has a Gorilla Glass 3 display and its constructed out of a metal chassis. Motorola is expected to bring this device to Google I/O so we’ll find out for sure if its real there.
Muvee is bringing their HD video editing tools called CODEN to Android. You may be familiar with this app if you’re a Symbian on Windows Mobile user. This software adds the ability to edit HD content right from your Android device. It’s been months since we first seen the elusive HTC Merge. This handset was slated for Verizon and it ended up being pushed back a few times. Alltel Wireless has decided to finally release the device. For $125 with a new contract this handset can be yours. Preorders of the device will begin on March 28th. Not to be outdone by the newly announced HTC EVO 3D, T-Mobile is getting a 3D Android handset as well. The LG Optimus #D has just passed the FCC with T-Mobile’s bands in tow.  This device features a dual core 1 GHZ OMAP 4 processor, 4.3 inch glasses free display, HDMI and a custom UI from LG. now we’re just waiting on Verizon to announce a 3D handset then all the major players will have a 3D Android device in their lineup. If you’re in the market for a Tegra 2 powered tablet and are a frugal shopper, Woot.com has you covered. They are selling the Viewsonic gTablet for $280. This is an awesome deal for all the power and ports you get with this tablet. It features a 10.1 inch screen, 16GB internal storage, USB host, microSD card slot, stereo speakers and 512 RAM. Besides having a horrible screen, it’s not bad when holding it directly in front of you, this is probably the best Android tablet for the money. The HTC EVO 3D might be the highlight of the day. Sprint has just made this device official and it looks great. It features a 4.3″ 960×540 qHD display, 1.2 GHZ processor, dual 5MP cameras and it runs Android 2.3. There’s also an auto stereoscopic 3D glass free display, HDMI, 1GB of RAM and more. Sprint has officially announced the HTC EVO View 4G Tablet. This is the CDMA version of the HTC Flyer and it has Sense UI for tablets as well. It will ship with android 2.4 and will be available this summer. There’s also 32GB of internal storage and voice and data plans start as low as $29 a month. Our friends over at Tmonews have done a little digging at T-Mobile.com product page for the LG G2x and they made an interesting find. It seems as though the G2x will be future proofed and ready for the merger between T-Mobile and AT&T. to be more specific it has  850/900/1800/1900 bands and  AWS Bands IV / 2100 which is T-mobiles current 4G radios. There’s also UMTS / HSPA+ frequencies of 1900 and 850 bands. This means that the G2x will be compatible with both T-Mobile and AT&T’s network out the box. If this is indeed true, moves like this will make the transition easier for everyone involved and it means that if you do get this phone you WILL NOT have to replace it after the merger. The most important announcement that came from this presentation is the multiple models and pricing scheme.
