A few more images as well as a few specs for the Droid Bionic have leaked. First and foremost this device will sport a qHD screen that comes in at a whopping 4.5 inches. It runs a new 3D version of MotoBlur on top of Android 2.3.4. The processor and the amount of RAM are currently unknown. At CES we were told that this would be a Tegra 2 device but we’ve also seen this device in a benchmark test with a TI CPU. Stays tuned for more and check out the rest of the pictures below.

If you’re not a fan of Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface then you’re in luck. Samsung has sent the team over at Cyanogenmod a free Galaxy S II to use for CM development. We could soon see CM7 running on Samsung’s latest flagship Android device. I guess it’s safe to say that Samsung respects and supports the development community.

When we first showed you the Droid bionic back at CES it looked like the picture above. Since then there has been rumors that this device will receive a makeover and could be delayed until these changes were complete. While the front of the device still looks the same, the rear panel has received a rubberized coating and there’s apparently going to be an Atrix 4G-like laptop dock. ViewSonic has just released the 7 inch ViewBook for $249. This device features Android 2.2, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi Bluetooth and a microSD slot. There’s also an HDMI, 5000mAh battery and the Amazon App Store comes preloaded on the device. More details can be found below in the full press release. MSI just announced a new app for Android that will allow you to overclock your computers GPU among other things. This app will also allow you to monitor your GPU’s fan speed, temperature and voltage. All of this can be done from your home network. As long as there’s a Wi-Fi network, you can overclock and undervolt your GPU for top performance. Sprint has just announced the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC EVO VIEW 4G for June 24th and June 21st respectively. The EVO VIEW 4G will be the first out of the gate for $399 with a new two year contract. Data plans start at $34.99 per month for 3GB of 3G data and unlimited 4G. The EVO 3D will be 4199 on contract and it releases a few days after the tablet. When PopCap games announced they were bringing their titles to Android the first thing that came to mind was, when I can download Plants vs. Zombies. Well, that day has finally come by way of the Amazon App Store. You can head there now and purchase this game for only $1.49. That’s a discount of 50% off. We’re not sure how long this sale will last so if you weren’t lucky enough to grab this title when it was free on its launch day, half-off is the next best thing.

Plants vs. Zombies was chosen as our App of the Week because it’s not every day a game of this caliber is released for any OS. It’s simple yet complex and it’s not overly graphically intense but it still looks good. And furthermore, there isn’t many titles to package these qualities together and still deliver a great game.
