New images of an unannounced Motorola phone have been leaked by EVLeaks on Twitter. The device looks like the Motorola handset we seen a few months back but this version is incased in some sort of protective shell. We’re not sure what this device is but the image below might give us some insight on the device. It says it’s the XFONE for AT&T. its running stock Android and that’s about all we can tell from the images.

I got a chance to check out the G-Form XTREME case for the Samsung Galaxy S 4. This is a unique looking rugged case that features new technology called RPT – Reactive Protection Technology. Facebook Home is now live in the Google Play Store. If you live in the US and have a supported device, you can get a taste of the UI from the HTC First. The app is free and you need to be running Android 4.0 or higher to download. It looks like the Optimus G2 from LG is coming to the US real soon. T-Mobile will be getting the device and it has been spotted in benchmark tests. A few details about the device were uncovered in the results. It will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 and Android 4.2.2. No pricing or release date hasn’t been announced but you T-Mobile will likely offer this device for $99 down payment and $20 a month for 24 months. It will be able to take advantage of T-Mobiles no contract plans.
T-Mobile is looking to shake up the mobile industry with today’s move. The company will be switching over to a no contract business model and they will do so with these new Simple Choice Plans. They start at just $50 a month for unlimited talk, text and web. That price includes 500MB of data, unlimited data starts out at $70 for individual plans and $120 for family plans. All of these plans include tethering and you can take advantage of them starting now.
With the exception of the Nexus One, the Nexus line of devices hasn’t been the most powerful devices around. The Nexus 4 had a nostalgic feeling as far as specs goes for a few months when it was released but it will be outclassed real soon once the Galaxy S 4 and HTC One hits the streets. That’s why this latest rumor of the Nexus 5 seems semi-legit.
A new render of what is said to be the Motorola X Phone has been leaked. This image is most likely fake but it does look great. It said to feature a 4.7 inch 720p display with an edge-to-edge design. Other specs include a Snapdragon 800 CPU, 4,000mAh battery and no microSD card slot. The phone is rumored to be water proof, has a Gorilla Glass 3 display and its constructed out of a metal chassis. Motorola is expected to bring this device to Google I/O so we’ll find out for sure if its real there.

We showed you a few days ago a video in which Dante Martin of AT&T stated that the HTC Aria would be receiving Froyo soon. In fact, his device has a beta copy of the update up and running. Yesterday an announcement was made on AT&T’s Facebook page which stated the update will be available today. This is great news for Aria owners, have any of you receive your update yet? We hear app developers all the time make claims that their app is faster than it was before or faster than another app. Sometimes it’s noticeable to the end-user and sometimes it isn’t.  This time, there have been a few tests performed to backup the latest claim from FireFox. Let’s hope the handling of this device isn’t an omen of things to come from the HTC Thunderbolt. We’ve seen this handset for months now and it has missed numerous release dates. At one point we even heard that it has been shelved. HTC has release a press release announcing this handset. No carrier was specifically mentioned but it did say to expect it on multiple carriers. Sling Mobile has recently updated their Android app with the addition of high quality videos. If you have this app and the Slingbox SOLO or PRO-HD you can now stream high quality video over both 3G and Wi-Fi. The Incredible S is now on sale from Mobiles.co.uk. The device ships with android 2.2 and should receive Gingerbread shortly. Originally, this handset was expected to be released until April.
