Another RUU leak for the HTC Thunderbolt has surfaced. This latest leak is version 1.05.605.0 and we should soon know what secrets it holds inside. I expect a few Droid Thunderbolt ROM’s to surface by the end of the day. The boot animation and wallpapers are likely being extracted as we speak. The last time we heard about the Intercept getting Froyo was a month ago when Sprint decided to brick a few phones. Since then the update has been fixed and it should be on every one of the Intercept now. If you’re an Intercept owner on Virgin Mobile, you’ll have to wait awhile longer. Virgin Mobile has recently tweeted that the update will be available this spring. That’s a long time from now, we’ll see if they can keep this promise. Think you can wait that long for Froyo? We now know what the official name of the next version of Android will be called. Ice Cream Sandwich will be the next build that follows Honeycomb.  Andy Rubin confirmed this with Tech Crunch about an hour ago. We still don’t know what features this will bring to Android or the build number. Android 2.4 is a safe bet and one of the newest features could be video chat integration in Google Talk. Augmented Planet conducted a contest to who was the maker of the best augmented reality app and WikiTude came away with the award. Those guys beat out the likes of Layar and Junaio for the title of best augmented reality browser. This is the second year in a row that they have taken home the award. Sony has finally decided to publish their Playstation ap. It is only available for users in the UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and France. Or you can download it now by clicking this link courtesy of the guys over at PlayStation Lifestyle. As it stands, the app isn’t really that deep, all you can do is check your trophies and see what your friends are doing online. Hopefully more features will be added in future updates. A tipster sent the photo above to our friends over at BGR. It’s a supposed LTE device that’s headed to Metro PCS with Android 2.2 onboard. This device is manufactured by Samsung and is the SCH-R910. Some of the rumored specs include the Hummingbird processor, SD card slot and a 5 MP camera. If this does turn out to be real, MetroPCS will have their first real superphone.
