Three new Android powered entertainment units have been announced from Parrot. The Asteroid Smart will be the flagship unit and it features a 6.2 inch touch display and it runs Android 2.3. Bluetooth, WI-Fi, USB port, Mosfet amplifier, microSD card slot and GPS makes its way into the double-DIN in-dash unit. There’s a pair of smaller devices for those of you that doesn’t want to replace your current radio.
The Asteroid tablet is a 5 inch touch device that sits on top of the dash of your vehicle. It has all of the bells and whistles of its larger brethren but it doesn’t have the analog video input or outputs and there’s no built-in amp. And finally the Asteroid Mini features a 3.2 inch none touchscreen, has all of the features of the Asteroid tablet and it retails for $299. The Asteroid Smart and Asteroid tablet will run you $599 and $399 respectively.
