If you sat down and asked any hardcore Android fan what they would want to see as far as specs goes in a smart phone that will be released in the next few months and the specs of this device would exceed most of their expectations. There’s a new rumor going around about the Nexus 5 and if it turns out to be real, its going to possibly be the most powerful phone ever released.
According to a tip the guys over at Android and Me received, the Nexus 5 will be manufactured by LG. Like the name suggests, it will feature a 5 inch display. The actual dimensions of the display is said to be 5.2 inch and it has 1080p resolution. It will also feature a 2.1MP FFC that can shoot full 1080p video and a 16MP rear camera that can capture 4K video. It will be available in either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB storage options. The rumor goes on to suggest that the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 800 CPU clocked at 2.3GHZ and that’s a quad-core chips. a full 3GB of DDR3 RAM rounds out the spec sheet.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of the Nexus 5 but this is the first we heard that LG would be the chosen manufacturer. Motorola was suspected to be the company Google chose to create the device but maybe there’s more than one. Reportedly Google has a few devices in testing at their X labs so maybe these are a few of them.
