A new rumor of an Android 4.1 update for Samsung devices has been announced. According to SamMobile, Samsung already has a version of Jelly Bean almost ready for primetime for the Galaxy NOTE and Galaxy S II. The Galaxy S II is said to receive its update to Android 4.1 as early as September or October. The Galaxy NOTE should be updated sometime shortly after. If this rumor does turn out to be real, Samsung will surely jump to the top of most Android users list due to fact that they can quickly update their older devices. Most handsets released around the same time from other manufacturers might not even receive an official update to Android 4.0.
