A few weeks back Samsung announced that the preorders for the Galaxy S III have topped the 9 million mark. The latest delay from Verizon and now the shortage in Canada gives those claims more validity. Due to a shortage in devices, the Canadian launch of the Galaxy S III has been pushed back on June 27th. Verizon has already pushed their ship date back a day until July 10th. The rest of the big 3 carriers here in the US have yet to announce a delay so hopefully there’s enough devices for the June 21st launch to remain intact.
